The Family Essentials Class at Florence Baptist Temple is focused on building families. Families the way God has designed. Our class is open to couples who are at different stages in the family development. We have newlyweds to those who have been married for years and are raising their children.

Tim and Julia Goodman are the class leaders and their goal is to equip husbands and wives in their class so they can understand and handle the daily attacks on our marriages and families. As the attacks on the home and family intensify, we must provide useful, effective, and biblical guidance. Through use of biblical examples, we discuss concepts and develop Christ centered behaviors to impact our homes. As we build Godly marriages and homes, we show God’s plan and His love to people in our lives.

No matter where you come from or what you’re past looks like, we would love to have the chance to meet you and introduce you to the families that make up our Family Essentials class. We know that through our class activities, friendships that you will make, relevant Biblical teaching, or just by having coffee with someone on Sunday, you will see that this is a great place to build your family and continue you personal journey with God.
